Serena: Do you think the cover-art anonymity of e-readers will make romance fiction more appealing to men?
Tamara Leigh: Many who have never read one of these wonderful books continue to regard them as sub-standard and strictly women’s fare — women who are bored and have nothing better to do with their time. And, since a book is often judged by its cover, so is a reader judged by that same cover. Now, since e-readers offer privacy in which to explore various genres, I believe men will be more open to exploring this genre. And when they do … they’ll be hooked, too.
